Ministry of Interior recruitment exercise: FG gives Nod

If there is anything to go by, the secretary of the board of CDIFPB Mr Al-Hassan Yakmut recently   disclose that the Federal Government has given approval for the continuation of recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Prisons Service and the Federal Fire Service. The recruitment into the two para-military agencies commenced mid last year but was suspended due to undisclosed reasons. Fire Fighters Magazine gathered.

According to Al-Hassan Yakmut, “the board approved the recruitment of 2,200 candidates into the Federal Fire Service and 7,475 candidates into the Nigerian Prisons Service.” Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Dambazau, who is the chairman of the board, pledged commitment of the board in ensuring adequate pre-deployment training for the successful candidates.
