Tanker Crash, cause gridlock in Lagos


Fire Fighters Magazine reporter gathered that a multiple accident occurred few metres away from the NEM Insurance corporate Head office along Ikorodu road in Lagos metropolis on 23/1/2019 evening causing major traffic lock jam in the said area.

Several cars and a petrol tanker were involved in the incident with a Toyota Yaris completely written off.

An eyewitness who spoke to our correspondent said, officers and men of the Lagos State Fire Service responded swiftly to the scene of the incident alongside the LASEMA officials who cordoned the area for quick evacuation.

A fire tanker belonging to the Lagos State Fire Service was also stationed to avoid fire outbreak.
