Eight Persons feared dead as two vehicles collide in Warri

 In the wee hours of December 29th 2018, about eight persons lost their lives in an accident that involved two vehicles that collide in Warri, Delta Stat, Fire Fighters Magazine correspondent gathered.


An eyewitness who spoke on anonymity said the two vehicles, a Sports Utility Vehicle and a commercial bus, rammed each other and plunged into a river along the ever busy NPA Expressway in Warri, both vehicles were on the same lane of the dual carriageway around the Ekpan community axis of the expressway.


Speaking to a cross section of eyewitness at the scene of the incident, reporters gathered that the commercial bus was intending to park on the side of the road to pick a passenger when the SUV allegedly rammed into it and both plunged into the river with the eight persons on board “The bus was picking a passenger around that spot when the Jeep (SUV) on high speed ran into it and pushed the bus and itself into the river.
